Proaim Launches a Unique, Extremely Smooth, Portable & Versatile Swivel Ranger Arm that is All-In-One Camera Support System. The Ranger Arm mechanically moves your camera in a variety of different paths: straight pan, outward curve, inward curve, horizontally, vertically or at a sloped angle or even forward or backward moves. When making a straight pan, the arm functions as a traditional straight-track dolly slider, where it can pan in a range of 3.5 times its folded length. Small adjustments to the arm allow the camera to move in a curved path. It offers photographers, videographers, and broadcasters the flexibility to shoot from remote locations and to record the real-time action in both still and video format.

Through positioning its arms at different angles to each other, the Ranger arm can be set to move in a virtually infinite number of curves. With a pack size of only 55cm, there is currently no other device on the market, which is so versatile in the field of video production that can be used.

VARIETY OF ALIGNMENTS

It is equipped with a swivel, which allows the adjustment of the complete swivel arm in 15° increments. Thus, all movements can be performed in the horizontal, vertical and diagonal planes.


 

TILT ADJUSTABLE CAMERA PLATE

The camera plate can be tilted both horizontally and vertically for a wide range of applications and positioning of the camera. Also, a displacement in the range of 12.5 cm is possible. Dolly recordings (In & Out) and Fly-Over recordings (Tilted) can be achieved.

MAINTENANCE-FREE GEARBOX

The movement of the Ranger arm is particularly light and even, which is achieved using a mechanical gear box and the sealed industrial ball bearings on all swivel joints. It is completely maintenance-free.

COUNTERWEIGHTS FOR OPTIMUM BALANCE

It comes with weight discs which can be used to counterweight vertical movements and to smoothen and stabilize horizontal moves. These weight discs can be mounted variably on the 45cm long 25mm dia detachable weight rod via two quick-release tube clamps. The result is an incredibly gentle, almost weightless movement of the swing arm.
